I'm sure the redshirt was sold as improving his freestyle skills, but now we need you for the team? This team still has a chance to be really good so punting on a weight that we expected a top 12 guy would be detrimental. Unfortunately Eddie is looking like a non-qualifier but as I said, I'm not giving up on him. Coop took the opportunity, I'm sure the coaches would tell him he is needed for the team and that was unexpected. Was Coop told to go 133 next year? Latona up to 41? I do not know. What I do know is if Eddie does not take some strides soon, Coop would have to be considered to re-enroll for spring if possible. Eddie is not big at all...don't confuse strong and solid with this...he is jacked, but I'd be surprised if his walk around weight is above 131.
