Well, coaches have buy out clauses as well so if they choose to follow the

money, then there is a consequence to that action. And even if buyout clauses for athletes aren't kosher, certainly schools don't have to treat athletes as employees to come up with deferred compensation packages. provide compensation that rewards the athletes for staying by providing packages that have the bulk of the NIL compensation towards the end of the 4-years.
