When the extra year was announced the only possibilities I recall having an opportunity to do it were Mekhi, Yianni, and if a true freshman won that year. Carter and AJ Ferrari both won, Mekhi got hurt, and Yianni took an Olympic redshirt. Obviously, Carter can do it now but to answer your question it depends on how you count NCAA titles. Carlton Haselrig technically won 6 NCAA titles during his career because at that time the NCAA allowed the finalists from D2 into the NCAA D1 tournament. Haselrig would go on to win 3 D2 titles at Pitt-Johnstown enter the D1 tournament and win 3 D1 titles. So yes and no is the answer it really depends on if you count them individually or not.
