I would need to look at the Math a little closer, but PSU's depth

across the board is hard to compete with. I take your point about Okie St taking 3 + championships and maybe VT get a couple. That certainly helps But PSU had this year wrapped up before the Semis even started. That was the case because they get bonus points from all 10 of their weight classes in the first 2-3 rounds. So their base score is very high even before we figure out who gets First through Fourth. They aren't just winning in those first three rounds, they are dominant and they are piling up the points. The only weight class that PSU didn't have a wrestler in the Semifinals was 141 lbs. Of those 27 (9 weights x 3 early rd wins) wins to get those guys to the Semis, a high percentage were getting bonus points. I clearly am being lazy and haven't done all the research and math, but my observations and I think their point total seem to back that up. Someone like Okie State or Ohio State (Or VT, but we seem a long ways from that position) needs to be on par with that first, and then you need the top finisher to sway in a direction away from PSU.

PSU only loses Haines (174) from this year's roster and likely Davis (141)

I can see Duke jumping two weight classes and taking over for Haines at 174
