Seidel was very disciplined on his feet and didn't respond with a natural handfight when jax "lazily" went for the overhand tie with his right which is his way of setting up his slide-by. Instead Seidel recognized and timed those perfectly to change levels and shoot instead of falling into a trap. Elevated immediately when he got to a leg not allowing for an extended scramble. The Ayala and Kyler Larkin match were impressive but both got hit with a slide-by, both found themselves scrambling which isn't where you want to be against Jax. I don't know if he can do it again but Seidel is on his third match against Jax and successfully avoided Jax's best positions aside from a momentary lapse which is a big reason "he didn't have his best day." Not to mention Seidel is also very formidable in a scrambling situation. I'm sure they realize this and he's making adjustments but if they're just chalking it up to a bad day and moving on he's going to have another one when he sees Seidel again.
