While Duke doesn't have that much wrestling support, it's still local for the other two Triangle schools. It wasn't as well-attended as the ones at NC State, but it wasn't much worse than the UNC one. That said, I was surprised they hosted since they usually skip "their turn". I just looked it up and the last time Duke hosted an ACC wrestling tournament before 2025 was all the way back in 1998. I assume Pitt will take their turn next year, though that may depend on when Stanford is slotted in for their first tournament hosting round. If it's at Pitt next year, I hope it's better than the 2020 edition -- which was right before COVID and ended with us finishing a disastrous 5th (UVA even out-scored us). That was a miserable flight home, though it was funny that the passengers on our American Eagle flight to RDU were basically us and the NCSU and UNC teams.
