Melvin: Reclassifying is the very rare exception, not the rule. Bo is more advanced than Melvin and he didn't do it. People put a lot of stock into the win over Cannon, while very good high school kids were able to scout him and made it difficult for him at times. He could compete for an AA spot at 157 next year but so can Gaj. As it stands today Gaj is wrestling better than Miller. Let Melvin's career play out and he ends up passing him by, but for 2027 it's far from a sure thing. Upper weights: I'm in agreement that we'll probably need to bring in 1-2 guys. Burton should improve one of those spots competing for the podium immediately, Sasso is staring down a potential top 5 seed so need to keep him. I do think upgrading 165 is important and Bullock is wrestling for his spot at nationals. If he doesn't perform to expectations we make a hard push for Jaxon Smith. HWT I would bring in somebody about equal to Mullen and let them push each other, either improve or you don't start.
