I thought it was known NCSU was slightly “down” this year

Essentially their entire lineup was competitive but Orine and Scott had down years, they are redshirting Jack and Arrington at those same weights, and they ended up lacking the number of AA caliber guys they’ve had in recent years. WrestleStat rankings had them as the #11 dual team but #19 tournament team, so I don’t think their performance has been particularly surprising.
