We use a seeding matrix, that's mostly set in stone
officially its:
25% head to head
20% Quality Wins
15% Coaches
10% Results agains common opponents
10% RPI
10% Event Placement, ie conference
10% win %
The biggest however thing is to allocate for the weight for the ACC. To do that you need 2/3: RPI (15 matches), coaches poll rankings (8 matches), or .7 win percentage (I believe their is a matches minimum of 8 but I'm not 100 percent sure). These are also minimums and if to many wrestlers qualify they up the standards.
With the new coaches and RPI we auto qualify 9 weights for ACC, the only one that hasn't is Andy...
