ACC Championships
The ACC Wrestling Championships are reportedly moving to a two-day format beginning in 2027.
I confirmed the news with Tony Ramos after Pitt assistant coach Drew Headlee first mentioned the change during an appearance on FloWrestling.
In my opinion, this is a welcome change. The one-day format made for an extremely long day, with the championship finals often running late into the evening. A two-day schedule should provide a better experience for the athletes, coaches, and fans.
The 2027 ACC Wrestling Championships are scheduled to be held in Pittsburgh.
