I didn't hear much about them over the weekend. Mekhi was 3-3 and finished in 8th place at 86 kg (189 lbs). Sasso was 1-2 at 97 kg (213 lbs). Andonian was 4-2 and lost in consolation quarters to David Carr at 74 kg (163 lbs). Also of note, Keegan Bassett lost in the U17 finals at 55 kg (121 lbs) to Chase Karenbauer, also from PA. Keegan was the U17 world champion at 45 kg (99 lbs) last year. Karenbauer won PA states at 114 lbs this year while Keegan won at 121 lbs.
