I think there are two things at work here:

1. Increased expectations due to the unexpected conference wins at higher weights. 2. Sasso was seriously overranked going into the tournament, for whatever reason. That said, the higher weights might be suffering from two issues - talent AND coaching.

outside of Aaron Seidel, this has been a frustrating tournament overall.
