I’m all for the portal, but…

As much as I hate it, it’s the way of life now in college sports. Those players don’t owe us anything. Let them follow their path. That said, I live in Raleigh (like several regulars here). Russell Wilson was a god in this town until he transferred to Wisconsin for his final season. His legacy here was trashed and he’s never been forgiven. I mean they really hate him. Times change. People are more understanding of transfers now. My question is this: do you think people will be more understanding if Georgia follows Kenny, or if she were to go somewhere with a legit shot to win a national championship? For me, I would much rather see her go somewhere with a shot to win the ‘ship. Something about following KB with the way he left would tarnish her legacy so much more, IMO.

Once you leave you’re out, it’s an entirely transactional relationship

I do see a bit of a difference RE Amoore. She used 4 years of eligibility

Been thinking about Wilson. Heard later he was to sit for Glennon

Can you give one good reason why her jersey would not be hung? Requirememt

What if she leads Kentucky to a national championship and they retire

She may not be eligible to receive the honor based on VT's requirements.
VTHokie2000 04/04/24 10:13 AM ET
Check the requirements for having jersey hung. As I understand it, Liz
