Brad Wurthman said at Blacksburg Sports Club on Wednesday that the NCAA requires a set-aside quantity of seats for the teams’ families, traveling parties, etc., that will take away the first 12 rows along both sides (apparently thru row L). Then I saw that 1500 tickets (I think) are available for students , which I suppose takes up the broad end zone area that students usually occupy. Brad said sold seats will be reserved. (I recall NIT men’s games here with open seating.) On Wednesday he said it was still to be determined whether an online purchaser will select actual seats or be assigned seats by the ticket system. (Selecting your seats yourself apparently slows the live online processing).
