Barring attritiion to the portal or bringing someone in from the portal, this is what she has to deal with Mackenzie Nelson Carleigh Wenzel Both will get 30-38 minutes a game, most in ACC play Samyha Suffren Leila Wells - Either of them will get 18-20 minutes a game Right now, there are 4 players in front of competing for significant playing time at 3 spots. That is before they potentially bring in a portal person who is an outside shooter... someone at the 3 position...someone better than Daley or Lani White....and before thinking about Baker playing more of the three..... So, righr now, she likely won't get much playing time ahead of a senior and three juniors who are entrenched in the system and are trusted with the ball and trusted on defense. If Suffren and Wells improve their outside shooting (and Nelson), they will be hard to get off the floor in favor of a r-freshman. Some may people to her HS/club accoldades. Jenkins and Trent had accolades. Jenkins barely played in conference games. There were games where Trent did not get in much either barring foul trouble. Barring her truly lighting the world on fire, she has at least 4 players in front of who will get significant time, to the point that they will barely come off the floor. Oddds are she will have some nice moments against creampuffs that will make fans clamor for her.
