I'm VERY old school and believed getting a college scholarship was plenty reward for playing a sport. Not many will share that thought today. However, I don't deny athletes any "reward" they receive. I'm in awl how the best are still real students and graduate. But we cannot deny that they are really employees except in name. That opens everything up. Is it fair that we expect 18-23 year old women to be perfect, mistake free and never have an off night? Surely not, but I repeat $ change everything. The thing I expect players on all our teams to learn is how to win and lose gracifully. Today that means they must be a little more thick skinned and I'm not sure that is such a bad thing. I hope the team is enjoying this season as much as I am. I can't imagine how hard it must be to hear criticism of your daughter when it's not always warranted. Good or bad I don't think anyone can deny Carleigh gives her best every game. I hope you will reconsider and continue to share your perspective on this board. Just one fan's thoughts ...
