If you want to see bad officiating, watch a SEC men's game

No blood, no foul is clearly the rule in SEC and sometimes even blood doesn't draw a foul. It's like watching Aussie rules football.

It’s not just SEC. Our game vs Wake was absurd
hokiepro 03/04/24 10:25 AM ET
Oops I was only a headline reader
Maverick86 03/04/24 10:07 AM ET
This is not about our game. Ohio State and Iowa.**
william floyd 03/04/24 10:00 AM ET
This was one of the worst officiated games I've seen and I was there live
Maverick86 03/04/24 09:53 AM ET
Do you think any of those turnovers were caused by being fouled? I do!**
Italian Stallion 03/04/24 12:54 PM ET
They shot 29 free throws to our 13. Yes, it cost us the game
Jethro Tull 03/04/24 10:52 AM ET
Everything you just said is unequivocally 100% true!**
Italian Stallion 03/04/24 01:00 PM ET
Other than Kitley and Georgia, the rest of the team shot 25 percent
Maverick86 03/04/24 10:55 AM ET
That may be so, but we were still good enough to beat UVA
Jethro Tull 03/04/24 11:10 AM ET
That 3 that #1 literally THREW at the basket that went in told me it may
hokiepro 03/04/24 10:08 AM ET
I really don't believe we were going to win even with Kitley
Maverick86 03/04/24 10:20 AM ET
Their 3 that bounced around the basket 7 times before it finally fell in
ChrisLords 03/04/24 10:12 AM ET
That one too **
hokiepro 03/04/24 10:23 AM ET
That ghost air foul after Clark flinch/flop was laughable...
VT757to276 03/04/24 09:43 AM ET
There was no different angle. You saw it.**
william floyd 03/04/24 09:59 AM ET
Why is it always the officiating that causes to us lose a game?**
Rahvatech 03/04/24 09:40 AM ET
Because it is very bad. That is all.**
Italian Stallion 03/04/24 01:05 PM ET
The blocking foul on Strack before Amoore’s 3 was a momentum killer. We
BackInTheBurg 03/04/24 10:01 AM ET
Yep. Up 73-71 if that shot counts AND Strack doesn’t foul out really having
hokiepro 03/04/24 10:10 AM ET
It doesn’t cause them. Often contributes though in close ones**

Turnovers and missed open shots
MrFantastic! 03/04/24 09:58 AM ET
So not possible for all of those things to be factors?**
vthokieq 03/04/24 10:06 AM ET
Why in the hell can’t it be? I don’t get this either/or thinking coming
WestEndHokie39 03/04/24 10:34 AM ET
You are getting a real dose of ref apologists.**
Italian Stallion 03/04/24 01:06 PM ET
We live in a black and white world WestEnd. ;-)**
vthokieq 03/04/24 10:37 AM ET
Turnovers (see Ekh & Georgia muggings) often due to no calls
hokiepro 03/04/24 10:04 AM ET
Agree, officiating was bad yesterday but Ekh and King being no-shows had
HokieBrazil 03/04/24 09:47 AM ET
personally, didn't think officiating caused loss to uva nor caused Liz's
VT757to276 03/04/24 09:46 AM ET
Not her injury, but could have caused the loss. The moving screen call on
WestEndHokie39 03/04/24 10:35 AM ET
Not sure about that. They took 3 pts off the scoreboard when they called
