The Lemleys got some solid air time on tonight’s Carolina Blaze broadcast
The ESPN camera zoomed to them in the stands in the fourth, and just after the final out they were announced as the ‘fans of the game’ promo winner. Awesome stuff.
Pickens went the distance and got the win in her pro debut. Carolina run rules the Cascade and moves to 2-0 on the season.
Our family may have to sneak a trip down to Durham later this summer.

Said it was measured at 86 mph off the bat and traveled 313 feet. Dang.

There were people standing on a platform in the back of what looked like the bullpen and they were looking straight up then well beyond the outer wall where she hit that. It was dark so you couldn’t see where it landed but it was LONG LONG gone. The one Chatfield hit in 7th vs Akron probably was in the neighborhood of 300; it was over the TV stand and the CF fence there is 220
