The Hokies were the home team and in the bottom of the 7th in a scoreless game, Erin Ota tripled to start the inning (I think it was actually a single plus and error, but she ended up on third with no outs). n Florida intentionally walked the next two batters to load the bases, but VT hit into a double play and grounded out to keep the game scoreless. In the ninth, Florida got a couple of two-out singles and then Tinch hit a batter to load the bases and then Mary Ratliff got the Gators only extra base hit of the game, a double which scored two.
