Does college softball have a summer league? Similar to the Cape Cod League?
If so, it should be publicized more.
The Cape Cod League is a fairly well known thing, they even made a movie that was loosely set around it, Summer Catch (Freddie Prinze Jr, Jessica Biel)

Maddie Banks played there in the summer of 2020.
