Pitchers for the 4 winning teams yesterday walked 4 in 29 innings.
Walks matter but, more importantly, that number tells you that those P knew where virtually every pitch was going.

Emma had this year with walks. She averaged .75 per inning. Coupled with Wild Pitch ave. of .25/inning, that's 1 runner every inning on base on ave. That's potentially a lot of runs. Hope she finds a "groove" in the offseason. She has loads of talent but that was her "achilles heel" this year.
