There was a wonderful story written by the local paper about her senior day - she put on the catchers gear the last two innings in his honor. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
A very special family. So glad they are Hokies!

"Lynch fell in love with Tech when she was at the camp. She verbally committed to Tech in September of her junior year of high school, picking the Hokies over Duke."
