because both of those teams had very good weekends (Georgia took 2 of 3 from Florida and Oregon took series vs UCLA).

I think that each poll each week should be a new re-evaluation of every team. So even if a team didn't lose, where does that team really stand vis-a-vis other teams. Sometimes. teams never drop or rise too far up if they don't lose. Maybe they should. Maybe some other team is better. Maybe a pollster thought differently of a team in another exercise in ranking.
So if a team drops because they rethink that team, so be it.
That being said, as long as rankings are at the mercy of human opinion, then take everything with a grain of salt/.
