Here's the current ACC Hitting Stats
Its interesting that VT and UNC batting averages are separated by only .001 and there is only one run difference in runs scored (UNC has played one fewer games)

VT leads the conference in ERA, strikeouts, and fewest home runs allowed.

So, a week after needing to have taken more pitches in many at bats, we now need to go back to swinging early. It should come more naturally, at least.
GT pitching, at least statistically, is/was better than I thought, and remember they didn’t really improve their ERA against us (gave up 19 runs in 20 innings, an ERA of nearly 7).

. . . "last season my daughter was in the top 10 in fewest BB allowed". After seeing her pitch I saw why. She essentially threw batting practice. UNC's staff has .293 BA against so it's sort of the same thing :)
