Just got an e-mail regarding Friday's Fall Ball game
No admission charge, but it sounds like we may have to pay to park.
Note that this is a parking services issue, not softball.
Go figure.

Parking attendants were stopping each vehicle as the turned in. We were told that we had to pay using the ParkMobile app and that they would start towing vehicles at 10pm. We were unable to download app (AT&T coverage wasn't very good). So we left. I have heard from a good source that vehicles in Lot 1 have indeed been towed after 10 in the past (and this was during a match that ran long due to a weather delay)! Great way to foster support for non- revenue sports.

They didn't bother anyone in Lot 4 as far as I know, but the "rules for this year say that you have to vacate Lot 2 by 8:00 and Lot 4 by 10:00.
I agree that it's a terrible look for supporting Olympic Sports but Parking Services apparently doesn't care about that.

I don't think that football parking pass holders are even allowed in the lots before 7am on game days.

Sands, etc. about this matter. If they want folks to attend these sports contests then there has to be some exercise of common sense for games running late due to weather, extra innings, etc.
Wonder what the minions are going to do about baseball where games can run 4 hours or more in a regular nine inning game.
I’ve seen the parking dingbats driving through Lot 5 on football game days and wondering what are they looking for - no parking pass? I guess Parking Services must on the verge of bankruptcy……

VT hates the idea of RV's. If folks decided to not bring RV's to games any more, VT would jump up and down with joy in it's heart.

My class of 1969 was having it's 50th class reunion. I had a parking space beginning at 10 am Friday morning, at the airport lot. However some HC related activities were earlier in the week. So, I went to Parking to get a permit for Wednesday and Thursday. They claimed there were no places to park my travel trailer.
I was now between a rock and a hard place. Well, we drove over to St Mary's Catholic Church and asked them if we could their parking lot to drop our trailer for a couple of nights. They had no problem with us doing that, so we had a place to stay Wed & Thu nights. They bailed us out, and received a donation in return.
Needless to say, I was PO'd at the school.
