The white ones for Cerebral Palsy Awareness Day were a one-time deal and they are in the current softball fundraising auction. I can definitely say that Nike is not funding the uniform combinations. There is an allowance that the team gets from the Nike contract, but I was told that the team purchases the uniforms from that allowance and it seems that the allowance doesn't go very far. When I inquired about personally purchasing the uniforms for the auction, I was also told there was not a discount available to buy them. And you are correct that we started the annual auctions as a way to provide extra gear, including socks, for the team. The auction closes Thursday and EVERY SINGLE DOLLAR goes to the softball program so jump in and bid!

dollars pretty far as the team seems to be well equipped in terms of multiple uniform combos (the whites you mentioned plus black, gray, maroon tops with white/maroon pinstripe pants (my favorite) and the orange pinstripes (my least favorite)). So what is this team lacking the most? If auction proceeds go to equipment, what is on their wish list? I commend your efforts on the auction. Maybe it would help to know what some of the tangible benefits will be.
