We elect/volunteer a committee (w/ Chip as committee chair, I'd hope) and establish a GoFundMe. The way it would work is that right now I can be sitting at a softball game and I hand Chip a check (which I have) with a donation to directed to softball. He takes my check and others to CPD and softball gets some new equipment. But with the GoFundMe established, we open a interest bearing account and we donate to Chip (I trust him 100%) directly. He then deposits said donations to the account (we'd have a treasurer) and strokes a check at any time with the funds in the account and directed to softball just as we are doing now with our donations. Just throwing the idea out to see if it's feasible and get feedback. And, I would volunteer to sit on the committee. I've been watching softball at VT since 2008 and this past season was the first time I felt engaged to actively support the team thanks to joining TSL and meeting Chip.
