From D1 Softball: National Freshman of the Week: Bree Carrico, Virginia Tech "Carrico continued her impressive work in the circle as a rookie, going 3-0 in week seven with a 0.00 ERA. She recorded 10 strikeouts in a midweek game against Longwood and allowed just one hit in seven innings pitched during a weekend series against NC State. That one hit was the only one she gave up across 11 total innings of work, holding opponents to a .029 batting average against her."
