"Ward joined ESPN in 1996 and called numerous sports and events in her three decades at the network. For the last several years, she was paired with analyst Jenny Dalton-Hill as the top broadcast crew calling ACC regular-season games, the ACC tournament and championship game, and both regionals and Super Regionals. "In addition to her work on softball, Ward called women’s college basketball and the WNBA in recent years. Her resume also included college football and work as a studio host in a number of sports, including the NFL, and on ESPN radio."
