Pete coached third base during the entirety of Maya Johnson’s time in the circle for Belmont, then reverted back to the dugout after she left. Same thing today, he’s in the dugout. He was as animated as I’ve ever seen him yesterday from the third base coaches box with hitters, giving them tips, locked in on Maya’s delivery, hands on his knees, clapping, even barking a little. I’ve been away from the team for a few years now while working at another school, but Pete never coaches third anymore, correct?
