It's been so frustrating that

our entire pitching staff has suddenly not be able to throw strikes. They're constantly behind in the count which results in way to many walks and HBPs, or having to groove one that batters have no problem turning into base hits. We've been able to cover up this deficiency in many cases by outscoring the competition, but as we prepare to enter the post season we may be in big trouble keeping up. I don't know what the answer is, but unless we turn things around very soon this once promising season will quickly come to a disappointing end. Sorry for the negativity, but this is just tough to watch. But I do get great excitement every time Cori steps into the box. She has undoubtedly had the greatest season any VT hitter has ever experienced. And it's not even close. What an amazing talent!!
