Almost forgotten is the fact that Emma almost had a no hitter in the opening game. She had a no hitter going into the bottom of the sixth when the Fordham hitter laid down a bunt, trailing 12-0. The batter reached when Emma couldn’t field the ball cleanly and it was ruled to hit by the official scorer (probably the right call). So….in 18 innings pitched this season, Emma has allowed one hit, walked two, and struck out 38. She is on fire 🔥 🔥🔥 Her opponent's batting average is .018. I think that's pretty good.
