The Hokies have played 40 innings of Fall Ball. Admittedly. the competition has not been great, but you can only play who is in the other dugout. It should also be noted that this is a great opportunity to work on new pitches in live situations. Through 40 innings, VT pitchers have not allowed a single run. That's pretty impressive, regardless of the competition. The total number is no runs, 13 hits allowed, 20 walks, 64 strikeouts Each pitcher has thrown two innings versus each opponent for a total 8 innings each.
