After a brief interruption for schedule information, let's return to our 2024 recruits. Today’s 2024 commit is Jordan Lynch. Jordan is a utility player from Rising Sun High School in Rising Sun, Maryland who can play anywhere in the field. She plays for the Lady Dukes-Lamar/Burgess, which is one of the Top 10 Clubs in the country. Jordan is another highly decorated 10 recruit in the 2024 Class. She was ranked as the #10 recruit in the country by Extra Innings Softball, the #7 recruit in the country by Perfect Game Softball, and was named a PCG All-American. Extra Innings described her as “a power-hitting lefty who can also drop a bunt for a hit with her tremendous speed…She has extremely quick hands, great range, and a big arm.” Perfect Game Softball called her “one of the best two-way athletes in the 2024 class.” They continued to say that “she has the ability to not only be a smooth solid foundation in the middle of the infield, but also has the ability to control the defense from behind the dish. Jordan has a quick transfer at shortstop and behind the plate. The 5-foot-9 lefty also adds absolute power when it comes to her bat in the lineup. Jordan led Rising Sun to a state runner-up title in softball in 2022 while hitting .600 and is also an excellent basketball player, averaging 13.7 points per game and 11 rebounds. “Jordan is very versatile,” said Coach D’Amour. “She can play any position except pitcher.
