I don't have a problem with the rule. The rule is the rule. I have a problem with the enforcement of it and when and which umpires decide to enforce it. It should be consistently called by all umps and then you know from the start what needs to be fixed with your pitchers. I coach an A level 12U team and this is a problem in our different sanctions as well. They need to enforce the rule and do it consistently across the board in college. Pitchers do it every game and it's just not called consistently.
