Torres is from Texas and, of course, Texas Tech has been throwing a LOT of money around recently. An FSU message board poster said that the Red Raiders were dangling $1.4 million in her general direction (BUT it a message board, so beware...lol) The linked story linked below was headlined "Patti Gasso may have no Choice but to avoid the Isa Torres sweepstakes for Oklahoma," included this comment: "As a Texas native, Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech all immediately seem to be the top options for Torres. Not only would they bring Torres back home, but all of those programs also have stacks of cash to offer with the ability to outbid the Sooners, even if OU went all in for Torres." The writer makes a logical case that the Sooners should concentrate on keeping their existing young talent and that it's "clear (that) their top priority to get from the portal this offseason is an ace for the pitching staff."
