It's a tough place to recruit and the 'coldest' . . .

. . . school in the Big South. Took my daughter to a pitching clinic there in February 2004. In was 8 degrees with 6" of snow on the ground when we went over to gym. She was warming up with one of their players who went to the coach and asked that someone else catch her up. My daughter's velocity made her uncomfortable. The coach there then was the eventual St Johns and BC coach Amy Kvilaug. The players ask my kid to go to lunch with them. Amy as the first coach to offer her.
