Absolutely true
The adjustment to college is huge. Almost every player on a D1 roster was a superstar previously and suddenly everyone else is as good as they are.
And the transition from high school to college itself is a challenge for some as well. Some handle that much better than others. We've been blessed with a lot of young ladies that were ready but there's no guarantees.
