I’m ok taking one strike, but it looked like we weren’t looking for pitches
To drive we were guessing…like I should take this one, but 2 strikes I’d better swing. We just looked completely confused and not confident at all
Check swings on 2-0 or 3-1 counts are probably my biggest pet peeve as a former coach. If you’re going after 2-0 or 3-1 you’d better be on autopilot because the pitch is so perfectly “your pitch” you RIP it. I saw multiple check swings on those counts this weekend
