In 2022, 11 home seeds won, 5 lost in

first. You would expect higher seeds to do better than that on a neutral field, much less at home. Could be as you said, teams feel more pressure at home. But, I am thinking that home field doesn’t mean much in softball. Be interesting to see some analysis on that.
