I almost wondered if Pete swapped starters when he saw Freels as HP ump

Freels is known for having a very small strike zone, and he did again last night. Doesn’t necessarily explain why he brought Mazz in to close out the 7th, though. That mystified me. We know Mazz often struggles in her first inning, Freels was obviously still working the plate, and LeGette was due up in the inning which sent shivers down my spine in light of how many homers Mazz has given up recently. All’s well that ends well, however.

Some seem to catch that front corner but CF cam is skewed to line of sight.**
