I’ve seen tournament baseball coaches

Consistently pull any pitcher in any situation after 2 consecutive walks. And they tell everyone that up front. I dunno everything has pros and cons. Doing that can certainly limit damage, but on the flip slide you may not build the resilience that you’ll likely need later on (and we all saw and applauded that type of resilience from Mazz and others in last weekends tourney). Ultimately, it feels like pitching is going to largely determine how successful we are in April, May and hopefully June. So yeah, let’s do whatever we think best sets us up for success for the longer term.
