This has been a long discussion

In the 35 regular season games since Cori McMillan became the leadoff, she has had roughly 19 RBI that were driving someone else in. We all know the reason she was made leadoff - to get more ABs. He was still more candid than 95% of VT’s other coaches.

It could be a typical Pete response. He speaks in a terse staccato style. **

Two home run hitters back to back does make a difference! Teams are less

"Day to day" is the same as saying, "I'm not telling you anything."

Sorry I posted it. Thought the board might be interested in his response **

Not a criticism of you at all. That's what he told you. That's the . . .
MidloHokie 05/11/25 10:27 PM ET
Good to know. It was serious to affect her playing.

Some of us were. Thanks. **

VTChip 05/11/25 08:35 PM ET
Glove hand. Injury appeared to hand/wrist. 27 bones there.
MidloHokie 05/11/25 08:35 PM ET
Oh man, another Rachel Castine type issue? I hope it isn't that serious!
PokieHokie 05/11/25 08:39 PM ET
A bad sprain could hurt like heck.**
