Doesn’t work that way.

VT and Radford collaborate with each other wrt the dates to ensure adequate planning and rooms for graduation attendance. I’m sure that VT has arrangements with local hotels to reserve and/or guarantee 100 rooms for regional athletic events that might occur during the spring graduation dates.
