Don't apply it to Softball, WBB, MBB. Baseball, women's soccer, etc

I understand what it means to football. It does not even need to be mentioned on a softball board when Pete D'Amour has 2 total losses to Pitt in Pitt in the last 7 years. TWO. The last loss to Pitt before these games was 2021. WBB has beaten Pitt a lot, including in Pitt... WBB then goes against whatever perceived norm there is. Mens' Ball is hit or miss with Pitt; recently, Pitt has simply been better/ranked so VT men SHOULD lose. But VT won in Pittsburgh in the 2020-21 season...actually won back-to-back home and away games Women's soccer beat Pitt in Pittsburgh in 2021 and at home in 2020, but lost in Blacksburg in 2022 and at Pitt in 2023... Baseball went 2-1 against Pitt last year, 1-2 at Pitt in 2023, 2-1 against Pitt in 2022, and a 3-game winning sweep against Pitt at Pitt in 2021... So basketball is 8-4 against Pitt in the last 3 years. They play later this year. I understand the point but why mention it here at all. It isn't a thing at all when it comes to Softball or several other sports. It is just something to say.
