Although I spoke to Pete at Scenic City, VT did not recruit my daughter. I am only talking about what was told to us during her recruitment as to what they were looking for and their strategy. We were told specifically by one mid major that they had beat Alabama in a Regional for 1 game but to try and play "small ball" for 3 games was impossible. They wanted someone that with a swing of an at bat make it a 1 or 2 run inning for them. That along with some great pitching and defense would allow them to "upset" the elite teams. Her mid-major team currently has the same approach and set a program record for HRs this season
