Candidly I didn’t see either of them having the awesome year that they are having. I think Nora had 16 at bats last year. I attended the last outside practice that VT held before the season and she was killing it, so I directly asked Pete about her. His response: “If you are good enough to play softball at Virginia Tech and if you are willing to work hard, you WILL be successful.” BOOM! And while Bree was a top 50 recruit, not playing last year completely dropped her off the radar. Bu she has certainly reappeared BIG TIME!
