both those stats are useful for reference. In terms of context it might also be useful to refer to the team batting averages of both entering the series. I will have to look it up in Chip's preview article.
Edit: Sam did the preview so the tale of the tape was not there. Chip has spoiled us with his previews. Sam thanks for your write up as well. I will have to dig further.
