The NCAA is/can be bad....but I don't see how they've done bad by Bree

I've read of a lot of cases where someone has gotten a 6th or 7th (or more!) year. Which is crazy. But I've read about cases where that extra year was denied, and it seemed unfair based on the circumstances. Also crazy. There should be a "spirit of the rule" aspect that comes in to play. Having said all that, THIS case doesn't seem like one where the student athlete is getting a raw deal. If she can document where someone at USC compliance told her she was not eligible to transfer, AND she can document the alleged abuse/mistreatment...then maybe?
