The pre-season predictions that Mazzarone would be ace material were kind of pie-in-the sky barring some major leap from what she was to being better than Lemley in one off-season. The batting lineup was still going to be somehwere between solid and good. With the loss of 1/3 of our HRs, and only one returning hitter having a history of more than 10 really....the power was going to be a question mark. I don't think we have a top 10 group of lineup players. The lineup is a 15-25 lineup as you said. The pitching staff is not a top 15 pitching staff. It showed it could get the job done with defense and when the lineup woke up against GA, USC, and Auburn, so we know it can be good. But the lineup can also go through dry spells that makes it hard to overcome walks, People focus on hit and Ks, but walks are basicall singles. We live life on the edge, and that comes back to bit you.
